Hummus is one of the world's oldest, healthiest and tastiest foods, dating back thousands of years. It's a natural, vegan food made from chickpeas. It's an excellent source of protein and dietary fiber, is low in sugar, and has no cholesterol.
Squeeze Z Hummus is produced locally in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It's made from a secret family recipe with all natural ingredients, no artificial flavoring, and it's even Gluten-Free and Kosher. Squeeze Z Hummus is dairy free, wheat free, and is not made with peanuts or other nuts. It is a great option for any diet, as fiber digests slowly and keeps the blood sugar levels from rising too rapidly. It is high in Iron, Vitamin C and has significant amounts of folate and B6.
Hummus also has molybdenum, a trace mineral that helps the body detoxify sulfates. It is also a great option for people who deal with Diabetes.

- No more messy containers with left over crumbs in the tub

AMI BLASHKOVSKY
"Ami's Squeeze 'Z Hummus" is the brainchild of the energetic Israeli entrepreneur, Ami Blashkovsky. Ami grew up in the small desert town of Beersheva. Ami himself is from a multi-cultural background. His father, Eliezer, was an orphan Holocaust survivor from Poland, who was smuggled into Israel as a young boy. He married Ami's mother Ninette, who is from a large Moroccan family with 5 sisters. Ami's father was an engineer who installed all of the radio communications towers in Israel during the "War of Independence." His father was often away, so Ami was always in the kitchen with his grandmother, mother and aunts. Ami always loved cooking and most importantly eating his mother's homemade hummus.
Ami was a born leader and visionary with an entrepreneurial, hard working spirit. At the age of 13, while his friends went to summer camp, Ami became a welder near the Dead Sea. The youngest welder in the company, Ami continued his trade every summer until he was 16. He then started a motorcycle flower deliver business in Beersheva until he was 18, when he had to begin his mandatory Israeli Military service. Ami was in the Army Tank Division fighting during the War in Lebanon.
Within months of finishing his service, while working as a body guard, Ami's beloved father passed away from Cancer. Instead of enrolling in college, Ami pursued his father's dying wish to move to New York to pursue the American dream and carry on the family name. Ami got married at 21 and had two extraordinary sons, Eli and Aaron, who he raised in Marlboro, NJ. Still a new immigrant and a "kid" himself learning English, Ami started as a stock boy at clothing giant "VIM." He quickly rose through the ranks and became a sales exec and buyer. In 1987 he left VIM and started his own wholesale clothing business where he produced goods in Asia.
Once his sons graduated high school, the newly divorced Ami moved to New York City to pursue his passion to became a real estate investor and developer. He joined Peter Asche Real Estate Company where he was involved in numerous development projects in Manhattan and Brooklyn. It was then that Ami's childhood connection to the Dead Sea turned into his next entrepreneurial vision. Ami designed plans to build the first spa-boutique hotel at famous Dead Sea, which is one of the most healthy and healing places in the world.
Ami's American sons decided to follow in their father's footsteps, by making Aliyah and moving to Israel to volunteer for the Israeli Army. Aaron(21) is in his first year and is currently guarding the West Bank. Eli (23) recently got accepted to Technion Medical School. Ami planned to follow his sons and move back to Israel.
However, the universe had other plans. Ami met and fell in love with WPIX Entertainment Anchor Emily Frances, who he ironically met 2 years earlier while he was on business at the Dead Sea and she was on vacation. He didn't have the guts to ask for her phone number. But fate brought them together on the streets of Manhattan last year. Ami and Emily got married last summer and decided to stay in New York.
Ami turned his American wife into a hummus lover, but not a lover of double dipping and sharing germs with others eating out of the same hummus container. Ami discovered a way to capitalize on the skyrocketing American market for hummus as a universal, healthy, Gluten-Free food while also meeting the American need for cleanliness, convenience, ease, avoiding waste.
It was in this "golden" moment, that Ami's next big entrepreneurial venture was born, the world's first squeezable hummus, "Ami's Squeeze Z Hummus," NO MORE DOUBLE DIPPING!
